Hi, I'm Jenny.

If you are struggling with feeling stuck in life and want things to change, we may be a great fit.

If you are struggling with people-pleasing and want to learn to say no, we may be a great fit.

If you are struggling with worry or fear and want to live bravely, we may be a great fit.

meet Jenny

I work with high achievers in life who can recognize that something isn’t working for them. I am here to support what you need - we look at your values and what ways you living into them and what ways are you not. Then we explore ways to live into those values regardless of what’s showing up.

With years of experience, I specialize in anxiety, grief and loss, perinatal, stress and burnout. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is my main modality. I love the flexibility, mindfulness, and acceptance that comes with ACT.

A few years ago in my personal therapy journey, I discovered that I was disconnected with my body. Through a lifetime of anxiety and a couple of chronic health conditions, being present in my body didn’t feel good and as a way to handle that, sometime along the way I stopped being connected. I have always liked to take a holistic approach and I found I was lacking some big emotional connections with my body. This has led me to incorporate more somatic practices into my therapy approach.

I love helping people find their true selves, the one that’s already within them and waiting behind the anxiety, depression, or trauma.

Growth and healing happens when we’re willing to experience the discomfort of our emotions.  Ready to grow?

Jenny's session fee is $225

Fun Facts:

My favorite way to spend a Saturday is sleeping late, drinking my coffee (lots of creamer with some coffee), spending the day with a craft or gardening project and an audiobook, and ending the day watching a movie with my husband.

I used to run a cookie business out of my house. I made all sorts, but my specialty was decorated sugar cookies.

I started college wanting to go to veterinary school.

I used to love to read and have reconnected with that part of myself in the past couple years. I now read over 100 books a year.

Q&A with Jenny

Q: How would you describe your therapy style in three words? A: Interactive, Curious, and Authentic

Q: What can clients expect when they meet with you for the first time? A: Warmth and validation. I believe starting therapy takes incredible courage and I want to honor that with meeting the client where they are at, learning their story, and exploring where they want to go. I want to partner with the client to empower them to move towards the changes they want in their life.

Q: What makes your approach different from other therapists? A: I think my approach is different because I’m different: I live with anxiety and I’m not afraid to share with my clients that it’s something I’m still working on too. And the work we do in therapy is hard and can be so rewarding when the growth happens. I’m also a nerd and find absolute joy in coming up with metaphors to help things click.

Q: What do clients often say they appreciate most about working with you? A: My insights, alternative perspectives, and metaphors. I will challenge them if they’re not living into what’s important to them.

Q: What is something clients might be surprised to learn about your therapeutic approach? A: While I have extensive training between graduate school and additional learning experiences I sought out, much of practice comes from my own experiences of what I’ve seen work for me, my previous clients, or just people around me in my life.

Q: What drew you to become a therapist? A: When I moved off to attend college at 18, I became very depressed. I finished out that semester and moved back home. My parents got me into therapy and I liked how my therapist helped me help myself as I navigated social anxiety and depression. She challenged me and pushed me outside my comfort zone to try new things. I wanted to support others in this way and changed my career trajectory to pursue psychology and counseling.

Q: What do you believe clients need most from a therapist? A: Validation, compassion, and to know they’re not alone. And the trust and safety that is built in the relationship.
